I have been around boats at various stages in my life so in these projects I understand which components of the line drawing are important to keep and which can be omitted. Personalisation can be by sail numbers and/or yacht names. I am fortunate in that I have access to the Mylne archives and this has been been invaluable in digitising some Mylne designs for embroidery. For other classes, owners generally provide me with the appropriate images from which to work.
